EDUCATION

We are faced with a crisis within K-12 education today, especially in our inner city communities. Too many students drop out, and too many are not academically prepared for the challenges of a college education and the competitive job market beyond. We must address this crisis and reverse this trend. We hope to bring some much-needed innovation to K-12 public schools in Southern California. Our support is focused on programs that serve students from disadvantaged backgrounds and that measure their achievements. Our current priorities include programs that provide gateways to careers in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.Quality education systems will define the future of our city, our state and our country.
