Bell
YVONNE BELL

Ms. Yvonne Bell has led successful fundraising campaigns for several cultural institutions, including The Museum of Contemporary Art and the California Science Center for 22 years. Currently, she serves as the Director of Development for Center Theatre Group (the non-profit producing company for the Mark Taper Forum, Ahmanson Theatre, and Kirk Douglas Theatre). Under her leadership, Center Theatre Group has almost tripled its annual fund from $4.4 million in 2000 to $11 million in 2008. As a member of the senior executive team, she is an instrumental part of the organization’s strategic planning, programmatic outreach, and board development efforts.

Ms. Bell has been a leader amongst theatre fundraising professionals through her efforts in developing and coordinating bi-annual conferences for the League of Regional Theatres (LORT) and by serving as an adjunct lecturer for the USC School of Theatre.

Cappello
ALEXANDER CAPPELLO

Mr. Alexander Cappello is the Chairman and CEO of Cappello Group, LLC/Cappello Capital Corp. a global merchant bank that has done business in over 50 countries and whose principals have conducted transactions in excess of $116 billion. He is a Director of California Republic Bank (largest capitalized bank in California history) and Lead Director of The Cheesecake Factory, Inc. Formerly, he was: Chairman of Intelligent Energy, PLC (London), a global technology leader in hydrogen fuel cells and Geothermal Resources Intl. (AMEX); and was Chairman of Inter-Tel, as well as a Director of Cytrx Pharmaceuticals, Genius Products and Koo Koo Roo, Inc., all NASDAQ listed companies. His early career experience was in marketing and management with IBM and corporate finance with Union Bank of California.

Mr. Cappello is a Trustee of the University of Southern California (USC), a Director of RAND Corporation’s Center for Middle East Public Policy (CMEPP) and the RAND Russia Forum, Vice-Chairman of Marymount College Board of Trustees, Chairman Emeritus of Catholic Big Brothers/Big Sisters, a Board Member of the ALS Therapy Development Foundation and is on the Board of Trustees and is the Chairman of the Investment Committee for City of Hope. Mr. Cappello served as the only two-term Chairman of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO) International Board from 2003-2004 and from 2004-2005 and was instrumental in developing chapters in Eastern Europe, the Middle East, North Africa and throughout Asia.

Kozberg
LINDSEY C. KOZBERG

In April 2007, Ms. Lindsey Kozberg joined RAND as Vice President for External Affairs. The Office of External Affairs oversees philanthropic contributions, media relations, congressional relations, community relations, RAND’s Web presence, and the RAND brand. Trained as an attorney, Ms. Kozberg practiced for several years with Latham & Watkins in their Los Angeles-based land use and government affairs group. She has also worked in the public sector at the federal and state levels, most recently as director of public affairs for the U.S. Department of Education in 2001 and 2002, and as a special assistant to President George W. Bush in 2003. Immediately prior to joining RAND, Ms. Kozberg was vice president of development for a commercial real estate development firm, directing acquisition, site planning and design, and government approvals in connection with the firm’s retail projects.

Ms. Kozberg serves on the board of Planned Parenthood Los Angeles, ExED, and Special Olympics Southern California.

John
JOHN R. OHANESIAN

Mr. John R. Ohanesian was President and Chief Executive Officer of Bosley from 1990 to 2010. Mr. Ohanesian was also President and Chief Executive Officer of Aderans Research Institute, a biotech company, from 2002 to 2010. Presently, he is a Managing Director of Integrated Media Solutions focusing on the health, wellness and beauty industries.

In 2004, The Concern Foundation named Mr. Ohanesian as their honoree for his philanthropic and humanitarian efforts in the Greater Los Angeles area. He served on the Board of Directors of Center Theatre Group from 2001 to 2008. From 2005 to 2008, he was a member of the Board of Directors of City of Hope’s National Medical Center and Beckman Research Institute. Since December 2007, Mr. Ohanesian has served on the Board of Trustees of The Archer School for Girls in Brentwood, California.
